Band Mania is our way of supporting and celebrating the hardworking artists who make our music scene so vibrant, and rich.

QUALIFICATIONS
- All contest participants must be 18+ years of age
- The participating band or artist must be based out of Canada
- The band must have original recorded music
- Social Media presence is not required. However, your online presence is considered during the participant selection process
Rules & Guidelines
Cover songs are permitted but at least one of the songs must be composed by or for You.
Yes. All kinds of music genres are accepted.
Yes, solo artists can register in Band Mania. However, they must add one or more musicians for the competition.
As bands or artists compete in either the semi-finals or final, we request that they perform a set of 4-5 songs, ranging from a minimum of 20 minutes to a maximum of 25 minutes.
We only accept online links to your audio recordings or videos. You cannot send physical copies by mail, or through uploads to our site.
Your winning chances will not depend on whether the artist can afford expensive recording or production of their song or video. The videos will be judged from musical and performance qualities.
All Artists and Bands who send their music to Band Mania keep ownership to their music, videos, and content. We only reserve the right to use it for promotional purposes.
